Tell us how you are projecting change to WIN $1000 cash!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – We are looking for individuals, non-profits, businesses and schools to tell us in 60 seconds or less how they are projecting change. It doesn’t have to be groundbreaking, every little bit we do helps – whether it’s turning off the light when you leave a room, growing your own food or testing the latest fuel reduction technology – we want to hear all about what you are doing!
Upload your video to our Facebook wall making sure to include in the comment “I’m projecting change by…” and presto you are entered! The most popular (commented on and liked) videos will be entered into our top 10 finalist list, and the winner will be awarded $1,000 cash, two full festival passes and have their video screened live at the Projecting Change Film Festival’s Closing Night Gala on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 7:00pm!
Not winning is still winning! We’ll be mashing up submission highlights and creating one awesome video showcasing how Vancouver is projecting change!

CONTEST RULES
The contest is open to all persons residing in British Columbia, Canada. A panel of Projecting Change judges will select the winner from the top 10 finalists.
How to Enter
1. Create a video with a duration of 60 seconds or less using any video-recording device (laptop, camera phone, video camera, etc.).
2. Your video must include the phrase (in writing or speaking) “I am Projecting Change By…”
3. Videos must be uploaded to http://www.facebook.com/projectingchange before May 20, 2011 at 12:00pm PST.
4. Submissions must feature an individual, group, non-profit, school or business based in British Columbia.
5. Video submissions must be owned and created by you or your organization.
6. Submission can only include original video, art, music created by the submitter or must have permission from that artist.
7. Submissions must not include any rights protected material unless owned by the submitter.
8. Submissions must also agree that all people used in the videos have done so knowingly and are aware of the material and agree to its usage.
9. Projecting Change Film Society reserves the right to remove any video submission violating the contest rules and/or containing inappropriate or unrelevant content.
By entering the contest, you grant Projecting Change Film Society to use your submitted video–in whole or in part–for contest and promotional purposes throughout the universe in perpetuity.
Finalists and winner will be contacted via Facebook.
The 10 finalists will be given 2 tickets to attend the award ceremony at the Closing Night Gala on Sunday, May 29th (7:00pm).
The following Grand Prize will be offered:
- a one-time payout of $1,000.00 CDN.
- if the winner cannot accept the prize in person on the date of the finale, for any reason whatsoever, he/she will not be entitled to any form of compensation and will not have the right to transfer the prize to another person
- all expenses related to this contest shall be assumed by the contestant
