The film follows the inspiring stories of several agricultural programs, each one designed to address a specific issue. Not only are the organizations amazingly productive and emotionally driven, but the people tilling the soil and picking the harvest have fantastic stories to tell. |
Speaker PanelDavid Tracey, author/designer David Tracey is a writer and designer specializing in community ecology. His design firm EcoUrbanist provides environmental site design and consultation to private, community-based and government clients. His reports for media around the world focus on the connections between politics, culture and the environment.
Arzeena Hamir is an agrologist and works as the Coordinator for the Richmond Food Security Society, a non-profit group that promotes local food production and consumption. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Crop Science from the University of Guelph and her Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of London, England.
