Ecojustice

Ecojustice is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to using the law to defend Canadians’ right to a healthy environment. We are lawyers and scientists and believe in blazing a trail into the future, not maintaining the status quo. We set legal precedents and strengthen laws in support of four priority areas: clean water, healthy communities, protection of natural spaces, and climate protection. Our legal and scientific expertise is provided free-of-charge to our clients – charities and citizens – on the front lines of the environmental movement nation-wide. Without the support of our generous donors our work would not be possible. We have only one planet and we believe it is our collective responsibility to care for the earth. The time to act is now.
